Family-Oriented and Allergy-Minded Cooking & Baking

Although originally trained in interior design, Joanne switched gears after becoming a mother and fell head over heels in love with cooking and baking. Before having children, Joanne was a closet gourmet and foodie who enjoyed traveling and tasting unique and new cuisines with her husband.

Once her three kids entered the picture, she had tiny sous chefs to help in the kitchen. The enjoyment of creating healthy and tasty meals with her three young children led to creating her own Facebook group, Cooking With Kids, a community dedicated to helping other families bond through cooking and eating together.

Joanne’s expertise in the kitchen quickly evolved as she incorporated developing safe, allergen-free recipes for her children, as well as fending off a family history of diabetes.

Joanne’s goal is to help every kid with food allergies have the ability to enjoy nutritious and tasty foods at home or school, as well as be able to enjoy healthy, delicious cakes and treats at birthday parties without suffering from an allergic reaction.
